The Process:
Bronze casting is a detailed process that involves many steps and takes several weeks to create properly. At the beginning stage, a simple sketch is made to the customer's specifications. When the customer approves the sketch, a bozzetto (scale model in clay) is made.

A full size sketch will be carried out before starting the full clay model. In bronze casting, a rubber mold of the original full-size sculpture is made. This mold is used to form a wax figure, a perfect copy of the original sculpture. Then an artist gives the wax model its finishing touches. The melted bronze is pured into an opening in the case ad spreads through the interior, then cools to take its final shape. The bronze casting is cleaned by various chemical steps, requiring great care and technical ability.
