St. Blase Candle, Feast of St. Blase, the martyred Bishop of Sebaste in Armenia, reputed to have miraculously saved the life of a choking young boy. It is customary to bless the throats of the faithful on this day to preserve them from illnesses of the throat. Two 7/8", 51% Beeswax candles customarily intertwined as one at the base.
