The Life of Christ Stole. It is completely hand embroidered in gold threads, and depicts scenes from the Life of Christ: Christmas, the Baptism in the Jordan, Crucifixion, the Emmaus disciples, the miracolous draught of fishes, Pantocrator. In the neck, symbols of the Four Evangelists are embroidered. His Holiness pope John Paul II wore this stole during the Mass in Meadowlands (NJ) during his visit to the United States in 1995. Beware of copies! Width 6 1/4" (16 cm) total length 59" (150 cm). Style 65 with rounded neck.
